This catalogue consists of pictures where I express a deeper feelings of being one with nature, of being part of nature. - to be nature. To me, it's an artificial divide, the idea that we humans are outside of everything else that surround us. I see everything as forms and energy with different degrees of complexity and greater capacity of consciousness. I am Nature, is the title of my whole project and my love and deep connection with nature is the reason I left my old abstract painting and school teaching work. The power and integrity of women is important to me, seeing women rise up and bring out their deepest identity has been an important part of my art teaching. So it feels natural to use woman faces in expressing this nature connection. This catalogue consists of pictures where I have used watercolor paint, photos of nature, such as stone and water, as well as digital painting and processing.
