In this pictures I really dive into my roots. I spent my childhood in the mountains, and I have a deep love for the colors, the lines and the atmosphere. Blefjell is a mountain area and stretches up along the river Numedalslågen. The pictures in this catalogue are mainly taken from Fagerfjell, which is the central part of Blefjell. The mountain sections are varied, there are several plateaus, from an open old pine forest that encircles water and marshlands, higher up there is a large highland with low crooked pine bushes, mountain birch and a variety of lakes. The lakes therefore have names such as Fifteenvanntjenna (15 small lakes) and Fagerfjelltjenna, which is a whole series of lakes that extend over a larger area. The highest plateau is called Storeble and extends up into a proper high mountain area at up to 1340 m above sea level. Storeble is mighty and create a beautiful backdrop for the entire mountain area. I like to go both up into the mountains to the lakes and into pine forests, along old paths to small 'støler' (Norwegian for small farms), streams and marshes. In the digital work after the trips, all these qualities can be joined, find each other and complement each other.
